The most direct way to inspire, challenge, and empower campers, Resident Summer Staff alternate weeks between program and support work. On program, staff spent the week with an Adventure Group – about 14 campers and two counselors – exploring the camp property, leading games and activities, and inspiring and empowering the group to create their own unique experiences. On support, summer staff help with maintenance, running free time activities, lifeguarding, and working on the dish crew. Must be 18 or older.

Spend the summer working the gardens and fields and among Adventure groups leading activities, inspiring care of the earth in children, and harvesting fruits and veggies for the kitchen. Part of a team of three, the position is open to anyone interested in learning more about farm and garden programs. Camp Stevens Summer Counselor positions are available to age 16+ who have previously completed or are registered for Counselor Training (CT) session June 18 – 27. Like Resident Summer Staff, counselors often alternate weeks between program (assigned to a cabin of 6 – 8 campers, providing guidance, friendship, and leadership throughout the session) and support (emphasis on behind the scenes of summer camp).
