Seasonal Sunday Supper
December 8th, 2019
Every few months, Camp Stevens hosts a community meal. It’s a way to celebrate each season, our community, and the simple joy of sharing a meal with new and old friends. This is a free event, but RSVPs are requested.
Annual Artist’s Retreat
Camp Stevens is proud to present our Annual Artist’s Retreat December 6-8, 2019 in collaboration with the Julian Arts Guild. Journey to grounds that have long inspired artistic expression to connect, create, and collaborate. Spend your time as you feel so moved, whether that’s with one of our portable easels out on the trails, cozied in a warm lodge with a cup of tea and that project you’ve been meaning to finish, or joining workshops and classes led by local artists and camp staff.
Program: Bring your own supplies and materials for personal projects, or join one of our classes where all supplies are provided. Expected workshops include printmaking, nature looms, mosaics, plein air painting, jewelry making, bookmaking, and more. Bring along some of your work to share with others at a low-key community art show on Saturday night.
Lodging: Choose between a private room with ensuite bathroom, or dorm-style lodging with shared ensuite bathroom. Commuter rate also available.
Food: Enjoy Camp Stevens’ famous food prepared with love. Produce is organic and local whenever possible, meats are free-range and organic. Bread and desserts are freshly baked by our talented staff. We can accommodate most dietary requirements with notice.
Costs: All rates are per person and include activities, meals Friday Dinner through Sunday Breakfast (except as noted), and lodging as specified.
