Summer Resident Staff | Report to Program Director

Summer staff members are called to build intentional programming for campers rooted in the Camp Stevens mission statement and work with fellow staff to build an engaging and adventurous community at camp.

The application deadline is April 1st and we hope to have contracts finalized and mailed by April 15th. We will be hiring on a rolling basis and positions will be filled throughout the time leading up to the deadline, so we encourage you to apply early.

Staff members need to be physically fit and be able to hike several miles over rough terrain, carry loads of up to 50 pounds, provide safety for the rigorous ropes course programs, and have at least average eyesight and hearing. The normal work week is 6 days per week (days off will be coordinated with supervisors). Staff Members will receive Room and Board, an Honorarium, health and accident insurance, and Worker’s Compensation coverage.

Year-Round Resident Staff | Report to Program Director

Ever wonder what happens at Camp Stevens during the fall, winter, and spring seasons? Join us as a Resident Staff Member and find out! Resident Staff lead youth and adult groups, act as a liaison and host to weekend groups, maintain the facilities and grounds, and participate in a working and living community. Resident Staff serve ten months to two years, living and working on-site in the camp community. Read the job description for more information. Benefits include health/dental/vision insurance, paid vacation and a monthly stipend. Meals and on-site housing are provided and are a requirement of the position. Staff works an average of 5 days per week.
