Camp Stevens Family Weekends

Thanksgiving Family Camp – November 23 – 26, 2017

Space is limited in our most popular family camp of the year! Call the office (760-765-0028) or click Register Now at the top of your page to check availability. Beginning with hors d’oeurves and a full Thanksgiving feast on Thursday, the weekend is filled with activities, rest, and rejuvenation.

Memorial Day Family Camp – May 26 – 28, 2018

At Memorial Day Family Camp, Camp Stevens staff provide delicious meals, comfortable accommodations and a variety of activities for all ages. Choose to participate in as many activities as you like, or just relax by the pool. Activities may include campfires, archery, climbing wall, garden exploration, swimming, cooking & canning projects, folkdancing & singalongs, lawn games, arts & crafts, and exploring nearby Julian. Harvest Weekend – October 12 – 14, 2018

Join us for our new favorite fall tradition: “Hoes Down!” Family Harvest Weekend. Featuring hikes, crafts, and outings around Julian all with an emphasis on our garden’s harvest, this weekend celebrates the bounty of the fall season. It’s the perfect time away with your family or group of friends. Join us as we connect with old friends and make new ones, sing around the campfire, cook, craft, explore, and create wonderful memories. The weekend begins with a buffet supper on Friday evening, and ends with lunch on Sunday. All ages are welcome and children under two are free. Register using the link at the top of the page!

Thanksgiving Family Camp – November 22 – 25, 2018

Thanksgiving Family Camp has something for every member of your family! From archery and games to folk-dancing and climbing wall, there are plenty of opportunities to try something new, make new friends, and just relax. The weekend begin on Thursday afternoon, November 22 with appetizers at 4:00pm, followed by a traditional Thanksgiving feast at 6pm, and goes through breakfast on Sunday, November 25. Participants help with setting and clearing tables at meals. Plan to bring your own sleeping bag and pillow, towel, soap, flashlight and warm clothes (some years we have had snow!). NEW Alumni Weekend – December 14 – 16, 2018

For former counselors and staff and their families, Alumni Weekend promises to be an opportunity to renew your connection to Camp Stevens and introduce your family to the wonder you experienced working at camp long ago. Full of traditional activities including archery, an Upper Meadow hike, lawn games, Community Gathering, and a Celebration, you won’t want to miss this first-time Camp Stevens program!
