“Camp Stevens provides a wonderful time to truly connect with family and friends. It’s a great time to put away technology and focus on people and nature in a loving, safe, and connected environment.”
“I would hands-down, with enthusiasm tell anyone and everyone to participate! Camp Stevens is an oasis of affirmation of humanity, life, connection, and nature.“

About Family Camps:
Camp Stevens provides a welcoming community, engaging activities, comfortable lodging for families to unplug, reconnect, and recharge. Families can choose to stack their days with fun and educational staff-led programs, or just relax in nature and get away from it all. We aim to provide an inclusive environment where all families are welcome and embraced across differences in family structure, religion and spirituality, gender and sexuality, race, ethnicity, cultural heritage, language, nationality, and beyond.
Room/cabin rental covers your private room, food, and activities. Meals are served buffet style in the dining hall with indoor or outdoor seating available. Our number one priority is to maintain a safe experience for guests and staff so that each may experience the healing and transformative capacity of this peaceful place apart.
The weekend schedule may include activities such as archery, climbing wall, a garden tour or project, staff-led hikes, ice dye or tie-dye, swimming, campfire with s’mores, family-friendly trivia, culinary projects, a visit with the pigs and goats, family fun games, beer/wine tasting, or arts and crafts.

Join us for the third annual Black Family Camp, January, 2-4, 2026. This is a dedicated weekend for Black and transracial families to spend quality time together and experience joy and connection through a family camp. Each year we expand the culturally competent program such as dancing with special guest Ms. Taylor, cooking sweet potato pie, playing spades, gardening and crafting together, and much more.
Please note that this program is designed by and for Black and transracial families to create a safe and inclusive camp experience, highlighting and promoting Black culture. We welcome non-Black parents and children from transracial or multiracial families with Black children.
If you’d like to make a donation to support access for as many families as possible, you can make a gift here
